Scenes from the Road

While riding on a narrow back road I found this old country schoolhouse.
Once surrounded by children from the local farms, now abandoned, but still a work of art in it's last days.

  2. Glen,
Your photos are fantastic! I would love to drive up and spend a day with you ... shooting some of these beauties. I am in Northern Illinois (when I am home). Great stuff!

  4. Hi Maciek,
Nice to hear from you, I enjoy your blog.
No HDR, just a bit of photoshop tweaking.
Although I use many Pro cameras, when traveling on the motorcycle I usually resort to the Canon G10 that I have in my tank bag.

    Stephen,
I'm never opposed to sharing time and ideas if you wanted .

Amanda and Fly, Thanks for visiting and your kind words!

  8. This reminds me of the school I attended first grade in. It was in a very remote area and there were five students. Brings back memories.
