Scenes from the Road


It seems that wooden barns are disappearing almost daily, small family farms giving way to huge commercial dairy operations.
That made finding this old wooden silo even more of a treasure.

  8. you have one beautiful blog here, Glen. While this image is not one I prefer (the greens appear to be a bit pushed - only a personal opinion), you have so many outstanding pictures down there that it is impressivwe. Fall Lake2292, wow... Well, I will comment in the next days.

    It's my habit to say what I think, and that is not necessarily full blown praise. I hope you don't mind... Well, I do the same for my own pictures that I often down-rate ! :-)

    I shoot these abandoned places {homes/barns/outbuildings} often but I have never seen a wooden silo...what a treasure !
