While riding on a narrow back road I found this old country schoolhouse. Once surrounded by children from the local farms, now abandoned, but still a work of art in it's last days.
Glen, Your photos are fantastic! I would love to drive up and spend a day with you ... shooting some of these beauties. I am in Northern Illinois (when I am home). Great stuff! NikonSniper Steve
Hi Maciek, Nice to hear from you, I enjoy your blog. No HDR, just a bit of photoshop tweaking. Although I use many Pro cameras, when traveling on the motorcycle I usually resort to the Canon G10 that I have in my tank bag.
Stephen, I'm never opposed to sharing time and ideas if you wanted .
Amanda and Fly, Thanks for visiting and your kind words!
Kaukauna, can you say COLD!, Wisconsin, United States
I have been a commercial photographer as long as I can remember. Although I live in a small town, Kaukauna Wisconsin, I have been fortunate to have my work take me all over the states, into Mexico and Canada. When not working, I still like to travel but do most of it on BMW R1200gs adventure touring motorcycle. When winter comes to Wisconsin my spare time turns to woodworking. Building furniture, ornate jewelry boxes for the girls, and currently, cabinets for my kitchen remodel. As I have time I will add photos of my work, personal travels, motorcycles, and woodworking projects.
Hope you check back often, because like our lives, this blog is a work in progress.
Love pictures of old buildings.
