Once inside the small old church I was amazed by what I saw. Cascading from the balcony were streamers of string covered with colored straws and tied with ribbons, gently swaying in the breeze. Then I saw the ceiling...
Beautiful ceiling! Came over from another blog, because I saw your last name -it couldn't get more Dutch than that! (I am Dutch but have lived in L.A.) for more than 20 years)
Kaukauna, can you say COLD!, Wisconsin, United States
I have been a commercial photographer as long as I can remember. Although I live in a small town, Kaukauna Wisconsin, I have been fortunate to have my work take me all over the states, into Mexico and Canada. When not working, I still like to travel but do most of it on BMW R1200gs adventure touring motorcycle. When winter comes to Wisconsin my spare time turns to woodworking. Building furniture, ornate jewelry boxes for the girls, and currently, cabinets for my kitchen remodel. As I have time I will add photos of my work, personal travels, motorcycles, and woodworking projects.
Hope you check back often, because like our lives, this blog is a work in progress.
Love the ceiling.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful old church.. The color is just perfect.
Love the perspective.
ReplyDeleteThat is really interesting Glen. I wonder what the ribbons are all about? Just a distraction before you get the impact of the ceiling!
