I think that's an awesome photo of you Glen! I like how you captured the fire engine actually being used in a setting that is dynamic and appears dangerous. The way this is composed, it almost looks like a battle between good and evil.
Wow Glenn you look wonderful in a fireman suit. But taken pictures of them is your things I believe. These are stunning. The composition of the truck, the fireman, and the colors behind it all makes me feel as if I'm right there at the scene.
Glen...lol! Now I suppose you know that I was too young to watch "Kung Fu" but I'm smart enough to know about Grasshopper!! lol! I love my new nickname!! Thank you *master*!
Thanks for the comment! I'm surprised there are Hartjes in the US! It must be hard to pronounce for most people there (Hardjuz?). You do look a bit like my father (could be the beard) and he enjoys photography as a hobby. ;-)
Kaukauna, can you say COLD!, Wisconsin, United States
I have been a commercial photographer as long as I can remember. Although I live in a small town, Kaukauna Wisconsin, I have been fortunate to have my work take me all over the states, into Mexico and Canada. When not working, I still like to travel but do most of it on BMW R1200gs adventure touring motorcycle. When winter comes to Wisconsin my spare time turns to woodworking. Building furniture, ornate jewelry boxes for the girls, and currently, cabinets for my kitchen remodel. As I have time I will add photos of my work, personal travels, motorcycles, and woodworking projects.
Hope you check back often, because like our lives, this blog is a work in progress.
